Description of the theft
I locked my bike on a bike post around 10AM and when I left by 6:30PM it was gone. The lock was destroyed: all of the layers of my very thick strong Ulock was tampered and was pried open. My helmet which was attached to the lock was cut and left at the scene as well. I lock by bike at this post about 3 times a week and have never had the lock numbers changed or tampered with when I get back to it. The lock is always around the mid frame of the bike.
