The bikes were locked to a Thule T2 rack on the back of my truck. Each bike had a U-Lock from the frame to the front wheel. The rack arms were locked to the front wheel. There was also a chain locked to the rack and run through both frames and rear wheels. The chain was the weakest point and that's what they cut. Bikes would not have been ridable with the U-locks on the front wheel so the thief must have a car.
