Description of the theft
My son's sweet mountain bike was stolen (9/29) from INSIDE his schoolyard, in broad daylight, by at least two people working together. This is his bike for racing NICA with his school team... (I know, shouldn't allow him to ride it to school). :(
The thieves pulled up on 1300E at 10:49AM, in a "no-stopping" zone in front of the school, in a very new black lifted Ford Crew Cab. If you were stuck behind this truck yesterday as it semi-blocked the road, lmk. The driver idled there while the thief carried bolt cutters, opened the school gate, went to the bike rack and cut my sons Kryptonite lock. The Ford drive down 700S while the bike thief rode down the hill behind, stopped halfway down the block and threw the bike in the bed, drove off.
