Description of the theft
Bike was hanging in our garage. I had just finished fixing a car, and got back from a test drive when it was smoking a bit from residual oil burning off and I left the garage door open while I went inside to put our kid to bed. Came out a half hour later and it was gone, along with 2 other bikes. This happened during a popular annual local fireworks display, and other bikes were stolen nearby. One of ours was found the next morning (it had flat tires, so they didn't get far), but the Trek and my wife's Schwinn Southport (pink and white) are still missing.
