Bicycle detail

First day of riding to work. Bike was parked and secured upon arriving at work, in the designated bike lockup - in the covered carpark nearest Building 5 of the business park. After work I come out to find the bike is no longer there. For a second or two I thought it was a prank, or perhaps I was tired and misplaced where I parked it - but then saw the helmet and cut cable lock about 3-4 metres away on the ground.
