Bicycle detail

My 15 year old son was at In N out with a friend. He thought his bike was locked. He was approximately 6ft away from the bike when a man walking down Lonenhill suddenly jumped over the fence and immediately jumped on his bike and took off. My son is Type 1 diabetic and his blood sugar was dropping fast when this occurred. It is critical with low blood sugar to immune get sugar into the body. He was trying to do that. It was reported to police with serial number. In n out said they have great cameras all over, but they informed me they could only be located and seen by detective on the case. It's been 4 days and we have heard nothing.
