Bicycle detail

Found my bike missing from the apartment complex bike rack 2 weeks ago. I had removed the battery and seat when I originally locked the bike to the rack. Joined facebook groups devoted to finding bikes in Colorado. Bike was spotted this past Saturday (8/29) on a nearby bike trail, Platte Trail south of the stadium. Thief was apparently dismantling a Lyft escooter to try the battery in the bike. Could not find the guy when I went to where he was spotted. Bike likely still missing battery, and an incompatible seat was used on the bike.
