Description of the theft
Bike was locked with a kryptonite u-lock connecting the frame to the back tire, and a cable connecting the frame and u-lock to the bike rack (circular bike rack right outside of 79 5th Avenue where I work and was all afternoon/night).
I'm assuming they cut the cable with bolt cutters. It was taken sometime between 7:30pm and midnight (when the night security guard came on) on 4/25/15. Theft reported to police around 1:15am 4/26/15.
Theft occurred just out of range of my building's (79 5th) security cameras, but hoping it was picked up on cameras from CitiBank right next store.
There is a police report on file however, they told me to call the precinct this morning (Sunday - 4/26/15) to get the report #, but there's no answer - probably need to wait until tomorrow (Monday - 4/27/15)
