Description of the theft
My landlord called in the report while the theft was taking place. The bike and the person were gone by the time the police arrived. The man was seen using a torch to remove the combination U-lock that was around the front tire and the frame of the bike. Someone spotted a bike they suspected to be mine in Portage Park (Irving Park & Long) on 9/20 around 11pm. A call was placed to the police but they fled the scene before police arrived (again).
