Description of the theft
Was stolen in my apartment block on NW 23rd Avenue/Flanders Street. The bike is cream/dull yellow colored Cooper bike. It's got internal gear hub. 5 speed. Got a well used brown Brooks seat. A steel framed race bike that's got a retro look and looks good.
A homeless/drug addict told me that he has seen my bike and described it in detail. His name was Mike and had a walking disability. He was walking around with my girlfriend's bike which was also stolen on the same day. At least I got that back. He said he didn't know where mine was but could maybe find it for me. Hard to tell if he was involved in the theft but i couldn't accuse him without any concrete evidence as I wasn't keen on using violence and threat to a drug abuser.
