Bicycle detail

I live at Ryder on Olive apartments and I keep my bike locked up in the designated parking garage. I went to visit home this summer from June 20th to July 9th. I came back to Davis today (July 9th) and got to my apartment building around 11:25am. I went to check to make sure my bike was where I always kept it in the garage, but it was gone. I went to the front dest to ask what they can do and they told me to file a police report and that they aren't able to view the security camera footage. I have renter's insurance and my bike is worth almost $700.
