Description of the theft
Bike was locked to a city rack on east side of Broadway (near BART entrance). Was locked with U-lock and cable. Bike was present at 7:30pm when I went into a nearby building. When I returned at 11pm bike was gone and U-lock was on the sidewalk, cut in half.
