Bicycle detail

Stolen from the Arriva train to Birmingham international between Aberdovey (North Wales) and Telford Central (Shropshire). As per Arriva Train’s regulations, it was in the designated cycle space of the carriage un-padlocked, with a cycle reservation ticket from Tywyn (11:30) to Wolverhampton (14:10) attached to the saddlebag. There were no seats within sight of the cycle space, so the bike was out of view and could have been taken off the train at any of the following destinations: Aberdovey, Penhelig, Dovey Junction, Machynlleth, Caersws, Newtown, Welshpool, Shrewsbury, Wellington and Telford Central. The theft was discovered ten minutes before arrival at Wolverhampton. CCTV footage from the train has been sent to the police and is being reviewed.
