Description of the theft
I locked my bike on one of the bike racks right outside the entrance to the Spencer Fox Eccles Business Building and headed in for class. 2 hours later when I came out my bike was gone but there was a girl on the phone with the police who had witnessed the theft. She reported seeing a man cutting the lock around 8:30am on her way to class and took a picture of him before he got away. The police dispatched an officer who unsuccessfully searched around for him in downtown Salt Lake City at different pawn shops and high crime-rate areas.
