Description of the theft
Parked my bike at a bike parking location on the street at 6pm before teaching my class. Came out at 9pm to see the Kryptonite u-lock has been completely snapped in half (clean cut) and my bike was gone. There was a big metal pole nearby. I suspect that the pole was used as leverage to snap the U-Lock.
A security guard, named George, said he saw a Caucasian male with a beard riding off in a black bike on the sidewalk. Possibly my bike. He noticed the broken lock minutes later, and put 2 and 2 together.
