I parked my bike and locked it to the bike rack across the street from my place of work. There was a heavy downpour and flooding in the area at the end of my work day at 3p.m., so I took the bus home and left my bike locked up. When I returned on foot around 9 p.m. to retrieve the bike, it was gone.
