Description of the theft
Garage door accidentally left open at 1:30pm in Ravenna neighborhood, north of U Village. Thief saw open garage door and scoped out the garage and stole 1 InMotion L9 electric scooter and two chargers at 2:30pm and headed west on 65th Ave NE towards I-5. Thief and incident were captured on driveway video camera and I immediately called Seattle Police Department 2 minutes after the theft occurred and they arrived within 3 min to take a police report.
Scooter had black hard case and black nylon drink holder mounted on stem with a Kyroptonite U-Lock stored in the hard case with the key on a lanyard. The hard case has a vertical strip of tropical flowers printed duct tape to cover the “Wild Man” brand and has reflective silver bands on the side.
Serial number can be found on the front right side of the foot deck on a sticker that was already peeling away.
