Description of the theft
On Thursday, December 12 at 7:16 PM, two individuals entered the front main entryway of the residential building. After approximately 3 minutes, they entered the building through the front lobby door. An investigation of the front door lock and video footage did not reveal forced entry nor key access. It appears one of the suspects was ringing intercom numbers, and the second suspect was waiting by the door to open it. At 7:20 PM, the doors to the lobby opened, the two suspects went directly to the parkade. They remained in the parkade for approximately 6 minutes, then returned to the front entryway. Before exiting the lobby into the front entryway, the 2nd suspect took a newspaper from the chair in the lobby and used paper from the newspaper to block open the front door to the lobby. For approximately 3 minutes, they seemed to be discussing ‘strategy,’ and the 1st suspect appeared to be examining a bicycle tire pump. At 7:30 PM, the two suspects returned to the parkade, gaining access from the entry door they blocked open with the piece of newspaper. The two suspects remained in the parkade for just over 10 minutes. They remained in the parkade from 7:30 pm to 7:41, exiting the Northeast parkade door with two bicycles and one cloth/flannel gray and pink bag.
