Description of the theft
Bicycle was locked to the vertical spindles of the rear porch railing at 2148 N. Halsted in Chicago with a Kryptonite U-lock and a cable lock. I was out of town between Friday morning 10/12/18 and Sunday evening 10/14/18. When I returned on Sunday at 7:30 PM the bike and the Kryptonite lock were gone. The cable lock was cut and the top of the railing was removed. My guess is that after the cable lock was cut the top railing was removed and the bike was lifted off the vertical spindles along with the Kryptonite U-lock and carried away.
