Description of the theft
I locked my bike with my helmet on the MUNI rack outside MoAD around 6:30PM, and walked by it at 6:55PM to enter SFMOMA.
When I returned at 9PM, the bike was gone, my lock had been cleanly cut through, and the lock was on the sidewalk alongside my helmet.
I talked to Jeff at security in the St. Regis hotel. His cameras didn't capture my bike's location, but they show a seemingly related bike theft around the corner at 8:24PM. The group was using an electric handsaw, which matches with the clean cut through my own lock.
