Bicycle detail

A person who was borrowing my bicycle had been reluctant to return it at the agreed upon time. They proceeded to temporize the agreement and stall for time in regards to updating me on its whereabouts and timing of which it was to arrive back home. The last claimed location of my bicycle was on the bike rack at the Walmart on S duff ave, where they were caught stealing from Walmart and arrested. Ames PD claims to have not received any property from the subject that night upon arrest, and said subject borrower claimed to have left my bike on the rack that night. It had since never been spotted at or near any Walmart bike rack, and I have yet to request footage of the parking lot for that night. The borrower had also claimed that the delay in returning my property was due to him needing to replace one of the tires that had blown during its use by them.
