Bicycle detail

locked bike to bike stand at Rainbow Grocery entrance on 13th(deboce?) within eyeshot of open sliding door with security(for covid?) approx 11
:30 am. a call from the front desk for bike rider in the store 11:40am sat april24, 2021. cable and lock sitting on front desk bike gone no further info from security or possible witnesses. called 911 to report non-emergency bike theft. 1hr 10 min no police arrive...call dispatch back to let them know I had to leave the scene, they suggest going to station to file report. approx 3:30 receive apology call from a sergeant ...all his personnel were busy at a protest keeping the public safe. more apologies and a very helpful suggestion to try to fill out a report online. Unsuccessful ,walk to a station fill out report there. informed the online reporting is a problem for many even the person at the desk who fills out reports( that is helpful to know). not able to receive photos of stolen bike and helpfully suggested bike index.com! Success though still hoe to get the bike back....Thanks!
