Description of the theft
I locked my bike on the bike rack outside of H&M at Metro Center in Downtown D.C. The bike was locked there between 4:15-4:45pm ET. When I came back out, the bike and the bike lock were both missing. This bike was brand new so I did not have the serial number written down yet. After zooming in on a photo I have of the bike, I can tell the last four digits of the serial number at 5145. The bike is electric and does not work without a key, so whoever stole it must be using it manually. I have called and filed a police report with MPD. The police report number is 149060. The 2nd district department's number is 202-715-7300. Please call them with any information you may have.
