Bicycle detail

While at work my bike was locked to my car’s bike rack, the bike was stolen during the day while I was in the building. The car was parked in the staff parking area behind work. The thief took the bike but left the lock and the tire attached. The back tire is a match to the front tire a picture of which was uploaded. I know the bike isn’t worth much and it could have been double locked or taken inside. This all feels really icky. I really feel uncomfortable with the idea that there was someone hanging out in the back parking lot waiting until I went into the building to steal my bike. I ride it every day and I park there almost ever day.
