Description of the theft
I was working in the DC area as a dasher on 2/15/2025 in the Petworth area. I made a stop in at the Subway to wait for orders to come in and locked my bike at the bike rack near the Dunkin donuts about 100 feet away located at 850 Quincy Street NW Washington, DC 20011. I was in Subway for about twenty minutes and came out to find my bike gone along with my entire lock.
The bike is a green three wheel tricycle with a large white basket in the back for deliveries. There is a small grey bell on one of the handlebars and it was last seen with a cup holder on the right handlebar, which was purchased from Walmart the same day it was stolen. The bike has a folding feature which the thief may not know about. I have lived in the DC are for over ten years and have never seem a trike in the city so I feel it is unique and definitely easy to spot.
