Description of the theft
I commute to work and keep my bike chained (4-digit heavy cable lock) to a lamp post in front of building at 1422 Kensington Rd NW. Thru my office window I saw someone doing something with my bike so I run down but I was too late, the lock was gone and so was my bike. The person who stole it was one of those street people who frequent this area. He left another bike in this spot (his old bike?) with flat front tire and took mine.
