Description of the theft
We locked both bikes and helmet to the car's bike rack using a chain good to 80 lbs. We left the car at 2:40pm on August 29 went to our hotel room and came out at 4:10 (same day) to our bikes gone. The chain was cut using a bolt cutter and the strap holding the helmet on was cut. A piece of the strap was found in the West side of the parking lot (directly West of the car), so we think they went that way.
