Description of the theft
On the 4th of July night, someone broke into my garage which is detached from my house. They cut through 2 locks and then forced the door open. With all the fire works and commotion we could not hear anyone breaking in. They then were able to cut yet another lock to unlock the bikes and then stole 2 bikes out of the garage. The locks we had on the garage were very good and they thief’s were able to cut through three very heavy duty locks. I live in the university district where there are many breaks ins.
