Bicycle detail

My husband and I live in a single-family home with a detached garage in the West Town/Logan Square area. We rode our bikes to grab food after a concert and returned home a little after midnight on Wednesday night (June 5th) /Thursday morning (June 6th). We parked the bikes in our garage, hit the garage door button, and went inside for the night. Unfortunately, we think something might have been in the way of the garage door, causing it to open back up after we went inside. Our neighbors knocked on our door around 7:00PM on Thursday to inform us that our garage door had been open all day. Since we didn't go into the garage during the day on Thursday, we know it never closed when we got home Wednesday night. The only items missing were our Trek bikes. They were stolen sometime between 12:00AM - 7:00PM on Thursday, June 6th.
