My wife and I rode our bikes from our apartment in River West to the Salvation Army Thrift Store located at 509 N Union Ave. We arrived on 8-6-16 at approximately 2:30pm and locked both bikes together to a bike rack located just outside the front door using a single cable combination lock. We were inside for 45 minutes. When we came back outside, we found her bike stolen along with the cable lock itself. My bike was still leaning against the bike rack unharmed. We have literally been living in Chicago for 3 days and this was our first venture out on our bikes. What a welcome to the windy city.....
