Bicycle detail

My husband and son parked their bikes in front of the Mint on Decatur St. between Barracks and Esplanade at about 6:50 on January 29, 2026. When they came back at about 9:20, my son's bike, a red and black 24" Guardian Ethos, was gone, along with its lock.

It had hub-mounted motion-activated lights on the front and rear, a green bell, a bullet light mounted on the front, and removeable, rechargeable lights on the handlebars and rear frame. It also had a few small spoke-mounted lights. Some minor wear on the fork (as seen in photo uploaded) and a few dings here and there, but generally in great shape. He received it for Christmas 2022, so it's about 3 years old (I don't think Guardian releases new bikes every year, but if it does have a date it would be either 2022 or 2023 -- if these work like cars, which many bikes do).

I filed a police report and have been given a tracking number, with a permanent case number to follow when the report is approved.
