Description of the theft
My former building has a "secure" bike room within which my wife's bike and my bike were locked up. I had not used the bike in a few weeks, so I do not have an exact date that it was stolen, but when I was moving to a new apartment, I went to retrieve the bike and found it missing along with my helmet and floor pump. Luckily, my wife's bike was still there. The bike had several accessories attached to it and those all add to the estimated $1000 value.
