Description of the theft
I parked my bike at the north end bike racks of the Mary Stephens Library in Davis, CA at 3:25pm on 8/27/22. I entered the library until 4pm. Upon returning to my bike, I found my lock cut, lying on the ground and bike stolen. The stolen bike is a grey, women's Diamondback Serene with a white rear basket, left-hand mirror, bell, and new chain/ freewheel. The basket contained a teal/ pink Bell bike helmet, which was also stolen. I immediately reported the incident to the Davis Police Department.
