Bicycle detail

I was viewing a potential new space downtown but the owner insisted I come at 10:30 at night despite my concerns about the dangers of crime in that area and being on a 3 month old ebike. When I got there he refused to let me bring it up and said it would be fine locked on 7th Ave well lit and facing the ctrain station and front door, plus there was a 24 hour security guard right in the lobby. I said if I left it than I could only be 10 minutes bit he kept me almost 25 minutes and it wad gone by the time we got down. We suspect he may have even had a part in the crime as he knew we were coming down in a new ebike and made me meet-up in a sketchy parking lot full of homeless people next door to the place and would not even give the exact address of the place.
