Description of the theft
Rode bike downtown Austin, met my kids at Barton Springs Pool. The guy at the admissions counter said bikes were not allowed in the pool area, and recommended I lock the bike up on the far west side of the building where there are less people, closer to Zilker Hillside Theatre.
I used a cable and masterlock to attach the bike to the bike rack. Went inside, and then checked on my bick after about 20-30 minutes, it was gone. I canvased the area on foot and asked serveral people if they saw anything, including the grounds keeper, and a guy hanging out in the back of a white ford cargo van parked directly across from where my bike was, he claimed no, but seemed a little suspect so I took down his LIC PLATE just in case: GZP-6684
