Description of the theft
I had a bike lock and alarm/tail light but didn't use it because it was stored in a place I thought was safe.
It was stolen out of a building in Lower Manhattan near the Hudson River; Pier 26. They used a crow bar and stole a bunch of equipment and used my bike as the getaway vehicle. I guess the basket and pannier bags came in handy for them because they threw out all my stuff that was in the basket to make room for their brand new stolen items.
I had a dash cam on the rear basket and on the front as well. There were 2 silicone phone holders on the handlebars along with the 3 inch screen for the dash cam.
