Bicycle detail

My bicycle was stolen from the second story porch/entryway that leads into our apartment building at approximately 4:40 AM. At the time, we heard noises from our third story apartment window, which woke us up, and when we ran down to the entryway, my bicycle was gone. My bicycle was secured to the porch railing with two locks: one Kryptonite U-lock around the frame and one Kryptonite Modulus lock around both wheels. The Modulus lock was cut and remained on the property. The wood porch railing, to which the bicycle was locked, had been sawed through, which allowed the bicycle to be stolen with the U-Lock still attached. We did not see the individual(s) who stole the bicycle, but this morning we found my helmet (which was attached to the bicycle) at the corner of NE 7th and NE Thompson, which seems to indicate that the thief/thieves fled due east from the property.
