Description of the theft
I locked my bike up on a parking meter pole around 5pm and went to the bar next door. I've seen CCTV footage of someone coming around four minutes later and getting a grinder out, cutting the lock and riding off with the bike. When I came back around 8:30pm my
bike was gone with only my helmet and half of my bike lock left on the ground. It had been cut with some sort of angle grinder.
It was a clean cut.
It happened right outside my work at AC Transit.
