Description of the theft
The bike was chained with a heavy 'Hiplock' chain to a street sign outside Mojo Coffee Shop. I had to leave town because of a family emergency for several days, and did not bring the bike inside my home. When I returned to New Orleans the sign was removed from the pole and the bike was gone.
Photo is of a very similar bike (not the exact one)! Purple frame with black bar tape, worn black seat, and black pedals. Hiplock is black with a tan buckle.
