Description of the theft
This morning at 10:45am I discovered my bicycle had been stolen from the carport area of my apartment building in the alleyway at 123 Park Pl, Venice CA 90291. I left the bike locked to a large, heavy, rusted metal grate leaning against the back of the building. It appears the thief took the bike with the piece of metal still attached. They left an old spare bike tire in its place. I believe the theft took place around midnight because I was woken up by voices coming from that area last night.
