Bicycle detail

I was in Yoga to the People in Berkeley, where my road bike was stolen from right outside. It was secured to the bike rack with a huge Kryptonite chain lock that appeared never to have been opened or tampered with- do you know how this could be possible? I'm positive it was locked correctly. My lock and helmet (attached to lock) were still there, in the same exact spot, still secured around the bike rack.Please let me know of any measures I can take to retrieve my bike, or whom to speak to, that you may know of.
