The frame number as well as all other serial numbers on other parts of the bike are reported to several registers, police departments and online resources; Bikeindex (global), Leadsonline (global), NAF sykkel/nafsykkel.no (domestic), Police (global/domestic), AWARN security (local security firm), local bikeshops and fellow bikers. Even the Orbea factory in Spain has been informed and they have taken steps towards finding the bike, as well as tagging it as stolen.
