Bicycle detail

I had locked up my bike to the railing of the staircase outside my apartment which is on the third floor of the building. It was locked to the railing of the staircase last night with a U-lock through the back wheel and frame + wire through the front wheel. When I looked for it today, it was gone. The U-lock is missing as well, but half the wire was left behind. The bike is new and was only purchased less than a month ago.
