Description of the theft
Bike was locked through the seat. The included photo was taken in 2020 not locked throughh the seat but into the Wald basket. Somehow the thief managed to raise and twist the 40lb bike to pull the long seat post (down the tube 8 in.) out of the bike leaving the Brooks leather saddle and the attached light on the post (see photo). I left for work with the bike there. Returned home about 630pm with it gone and obviously the seat and post hanging by the lock.
