Description of the theft
My Son goes to Twelve Bridges Middle School and parked his mountain bike on the trail just down the hill and to the east of the middle school. The bike was parked approximately 75 yards south of the parking lot at Wilson Park. He stated he parked his bike and locked it to the steel cable that runs along the trail. The lock on the bike used my son's fingerprint. The bike lock was made by Jeleva and was black in color. He left his bicycle there with the other bikes and went to class. My son stayed after school to watch his school's volleyball game and stayed later than normal. After the game, he walked down to get his bike and noticed it was missing. He did not see or hear anything related to the theft. I picked him up from school and did a small check of the area and did not see anybody riding a bike in the area. I have looked on websites and have not located anything that resembles his bike. I currently can't find the serial number of the bike. The bicycle is a silver Motobecane Fantom DS mountain bike. The frame is 21 inches, it has disc brakes, front, and rear suspension. The rear suspension is spring-loaded. The bike has 29-inch tires and the derailleur was replaced with a Shimano brand. The bikes were just purchased in June of 2021.
