Description of the theft
The thief must have unscrewed the bolts that connect the metal bike rack to the ground, lifted the bike rack up, slid my chain lock off the rack to free my bike, put the bike rack back, and then took off with my bike. When I looked at the bike rack, there was no bike currently locked on it, the screws were very loose, the washers were on the ground, and there was dust around that one rack. I thought my bike was secure because you need to be a 2125 Franklin resident to have a key to get in the bike room and there are two security cameras in the bike parking room.
