Description of the theft
Bike was parked at bike rack in courtyard outside Health Science Building, nearest J and K wing (on the west side of J wing). This is the bike rack in the open (not covered) next to the bike lockers. Bike was locked with a Zefal U-lock. I parked the bike just before 9 am. When I came back at 3:15 pm the bike was missing. The lock was still there but had been cut through on the U part of the lock. This bike was registered with UW police in 2013. It is a 2011 Trek Mamba mountain bike in very good condition, looks almost new. Grey, with blue and black trim. Disc brakes. 29" tires. 19" frame size.
