Description of the theft
A white, 30-something to 40-something man stole my bike from the hallway/stairwell of my apartment in Crown Heights, Brooklyn, NY. He was wearing a black leather jacket and a gray hoodie inside of it. His face was broad and round with light colored eyes.
As I was approaching my apartment complex in the late evening, I saw him exiting my apartment quickly with the bike. Except I didn't realize it was my bike (was dark outside), and I assumed he was my neighbor. I even made eye contact and a head nod as he went by. When I got in the building, I saw he had taken my bike.
