Description of the theft
Since it was inside my apartment building I didn't go through the normal locking of my tire and frame, as well as looping the cable through my front tire. I looped the cable around the rail of the stairway and locked the U-lock under my seat and back rack. Since my lock is still around the railing, I assume the thief just unscrewed my back rack and removed my seat to take it, then reinstalled them. Also, they left behind my basket since that is fairly identifiable.
