Description of the theft
My bicycle was stolen from the bike racks outside the 19th St BART station
at 20th St and Broadway, SW entrance, between 1:45 and 3:15pm. I believe the bicycle was properly locked (U-lock through frame -- I have wheel locks so i didn't lock the wheels). But when I came out the bike
was gone, the lock and helmet remained on the bike rack. The lock
(Kryptonite Kryptolok Series 2 small ulock)
was closed and undamaged with the helmet locked to it.
I believe the serial number is correct - but I only have a low-res photo of it from the day I purchased it and it was taken from a bad angle.
